Being Demarcus Cousins has not been easy the last few years. I mean, he's an NBA player who makes millions of dollars a year, so yes his life has been easier than any of ours, but from the perspective of an NBA athlete, it's been more than rough. First, be tore is Achilles, then he tore his quad and this summer while working out he tore his ACL. So as far as athletes go, that's pretty shitty. 

But none of that compares to the audio of him telling his baby mamma that he would kill her if she didn't let his son attend his wedding this past weekend. From the Complex article about the audio, "Cousins’ ex, Christy West, has alleged that the NBA player threatened her on Aug. 23, the day before Cousins' wedding to his fiancée in Atlanta, according to TMZ Sports."

“I'm gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level,” the man says in the audio, “Can I have my son here, please?” The man then makes the purported threat after West responds, “No.” He says, “I'm gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f**king head.”

West has also filed for a restraining order in Alabama against Cousins, alleging he told her he was going to kill her, “even if he didn't have to get his hands dirty doing it.”

In court documents, West asserted that Cousins has choked her before, but didn’t go into detail. She doesn’t want Cousins near her and their son, though she said she’s open to Cousins having supervised visitation.

West also went to the Mobile Police Department in Alabama and filed a report with the cops. A police spokesperson told TMZ that an investigation has been opened into the allegations.
